The Locals Crew Catamaran Beginner Course in Apulia takes 6 hours in total and is divided into 4 days, 1.5 hours per day.

The school provides all the necessary equipment and safety systems such as helmet, jacket and rescue. Third party liability insurance is included in the price. The course is suitable for children from 10 and adults of any age.

Progress quickly and safely.

1° LEVEL

LAND / WATER

Theory on the effects of the sea and the wind on a multihull, boat positions, mainsail, jib and rudder operation, first outing and approach to the rudder.

2° LEVEL

WATER

Basic concepts on navigation rules, sailing in open sea, perfecting the use of the rudder, managing sails and weights.

3° LEVEL

WATER

Tacking and jibing, K position.

4° LEVEL

WATER

Capsizing simulation.

The school carries out the courses in different spot, from June to September we are in Torre San Giovanni (Marina di Ugento) on the Ionian coast.

The course does not necessarily need a physical preparation, it is suitable for everyone.

ATTENTION

The days and times of the lessons are established based on the weather forecast and the availability of the student, compatibly with the school organization, every day from 10:00 to 18:30.
