The Locals Crew Windsurf Course for Children in Apulia takes 6 hours overall, it is divided into 4 days of 1.5h training. The school provides all the necessary equipment and safety systems such as helmet, jacket and rescue. Third party liability insurance is included in the price. The course is suitable for children aged from 7 to 12.

LEVELS

Progress quickly and safely.

1° LEVEL

LAND / WATER

Start with a body warm up and stretching. Theory of the sea and wind conditions, playing with the equipment setting up, simulation on land. Lot of fun!

2° LEVEL

WATER

Start with a body warm up and stretching. Body  and feet position on the board, sail management, balance on the board, recovery of the sail in the water. Have fun jumping from the board.

3° LEVEL

WATER

Start with body warm up and stretching. Learn how to sail on a windsurf board, looking for some speed and sailing up wind. Kids start to windsurfing really.

4° LEVEL

WATER

Start with body warm up and stretching. Learn how to jibing for change the navigation side and than how to sail constantly up wind. The aim is to make the kids safe and independent.

The school carries out windsurfing courses all the year long, in different spots of the Salento peninsula according to the most suitable weather conditions; from June to September the courses are held at:

Who is suitable for the windsurfing course?

The course is suitable for all children aged from 7 to 12 years.

How can I book the course?

Click on the + book button, choose the number of participants and finalize the booking by paying only a deposit, the balance will be paid on the day of the course.

Can I choose the day of the course?

Of course, compatibly with the weather conditions and the school organization, we will decide together the best day.

Refund Policy

We will refund you if the weather condition will be not good for ending the course. We will not refund you if you don’t show up for the appointment lesson or if you don’t cancel 12h before.

Do you provide the equipment?

Absolutely yes! The school provides students with all the best and safest equipment. Group lesson will share one equipment and one instructor.

Where will the course take place?

The school carries out the courses in different spots of the Salento peninsula, from June to September we are at: Torre San Giovanni (Marina di Ugento) and Gallipoli on the Ionian coast. The The spot will be chosen according to weather conditions.

Do you need physical preparation for windsurfing?

The course does not need a physical preparation, it is suitable for everyone.

ATTENTION

The days and times of the lessons are established based on the weather forecast and the availability of the student, compatibly with the school organization, every windy day from 10:00 to 18:30.
