The Locals Crew WingFoil BEGINNER course in Apulia takes 6h overall, is structured in 4 levels and is divided into 4 days of training. The school provides all the necessary equipment and safety systems such as helmet, jacket and rescue. Third party liability insurance is included in the price. The school uses new and latest generation equipment to guarantee maximum safety and optimal performance for teaching. The course is suitable for children aged 10 and over and adults of any age. All lessons include a physical warm-up of 10-15 minutes before the practical activity.

LEVELS

Progress quickly and safely.

1° LEVEL

LAND

Wind theory and wing aerodynamics, practical exercise with the wing on the beach learning how maneuver the wing in power and how to change direction, safety systems.

2° LEVEL

WATER

Training in the water with a big size board and a small wing. You start to ride in balance on the board, we will gradually reduce the volume of the boards and increase the size of the wing.

3° LEVEL

WATER

Improving sailing upwind and start using the foil board and the wing pumping maneuver.

4° LEVEL

WATER

Wing pumping and take-off technique. Sailing upwind and downwind. Self-rescue technique.

The school carries out wing foil courses all the year long, in various spots of the Salento peninsula according to the most suitable weather conditions; from June to September the courses are held at:

Who is suitable for the Wing Foil course?

The course is suitable for everyone. Therefore both to children over 10 years of age and to adults.

How do I book the Wing Foil course?

Click on the + book button, choose the number of participants and finalize the booking by paying only a deposit, the balance will be paid on the day of the course.

Can I choose the day of the Wing Foil course?

Of course, compatibly with the weather conditions and the school organization, we will decide together the best day.

Refund Policy

We will refund you if the weather condition will be not good for ending the course. We will not refund you if you don’t show up for the appointment lesson or if you don’t cancel 12h before.

Do you provide the equipment for the Wing Foil?

Absolutely yes! In fact, the school provides students with brand new and safest equipment on the market. Group lesson will share one equipment and one instructor.

Where will the Wing Foil course take place?

The school conducts courses in different spots on the Salento peninsula both on the Ionian and Adriatic coasts. In particular from June to September the courses will be held at Torre San Giovanni (Marina di Ugento) on the Ionian coast. Finally, the spot will be chosen based on favorable weather conditions.

Do you need physical preparation for wingfoil?

The course does not need a physical preparation, therefore it is suitable for everyone.

ATTENTION

The days and times of the lessons are established based on the weather forecast and the availability of the student, compatibly with the school organization, every windy day from 10:00 to 18:30.
