Water sports courses in Apulia
The sports association Locals Crew a.s.d. for years it has been working in the area to create a culture linked to water sports such as Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, sailing, Wakeboarding, SUP and Surfing.
The mission is to raise awareness of these sports through courses and sporting events, involving the very young in particular and creating a nursery of athletes to be included in the FIV competitive circuit.
We have been in this sector since 2003 and after years spent visiting the windiest spots in the world we have managed to acquire a level of experience such as to be able to propose a valid, effective and above all safe teaching method. We will teach you to know and respect the sea and the wind, natural elements that should never be underestimated.
The first courses were held in 2007, today we are a company from Salento branded Kite n’ Surf, guaranteed by the professionalism of our IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and FIV (Italian Sailing Federation) certified instructors, we are also affiliated with the FISW as regards the disciplines of Surfing.
Locals Crew promotes water sports at all levels also through regional and national events, demonstrations and regattas with the aim of making these sports known to the general public, attracting the interest of those who want to get involved and escape from the usual routine.
We are operational all year round and move between the different spots on the Salento peninsula depending on the best weather and sea conditions so as not to miss a single day at the beach. During the summer season we collaborate with some accommodation facilities to guarantee services even during the period of restriction due to the beach ordinance, which limits activities and the use of beaches and the sea throughout Italy.
